Some excellent info on this link about what is really happening in the US and across the world regarding money and the financial meltdown which appears to be underway. Is it all orchestrated by a few control freaks, or is the system just setup to fail and we need scapegoats?

It’s a lot to take in but read the whole lot and follow the links to become better informed about the financial matters of the world and decide for yourself.

A Martian Horse – Does anyone here like horses? Apparently someone in the Martian past liked horses too. There is what looks like a complete horse statue in the ejecta of Concepcion’ Crater. One can see the legs, body, neck, head, and mane. The details of the head include eye, ear, nose, and mouth – a typical looking earthly horse’s head. No way to tell if this horse is stone cut, or manufactured. The color of this horse is probably lighter, as shown by the color of the horse’s head, neck, and the forward part of its body. The bulk of the horse’s body and rear is rather dark, because of sun position and shadows. The legs of the horse are made interestingly a little “squarish”.

The horse is shows to be in a “rearing up” position.*

Yes, this is a very odd anomaly. A horse on Mars, no less. One of the few anomalies I would consider even more odd, would be if it were an elephant! One never knows!!!

This is an interesting anomaly! I will post three screenshots, one of just the horse’s head, and the other two of the full horse, one of which has tint added.. I looked at this as I was browsing the Above Top Secret site, and the first picture was fairly convincing, picture two circling the head does accentuate the horsey look, but the third picture shows it for what it is. It is in fact a pareidolia (from the Skeptics dictionary Pareidolia is a type of illusion or misperception involving a vague or obscure stimulus being perceived as something clear and distinct) in other words, our brains interpreting the world around us into something we recognise, in this case a pile of rocks with shadows looking like a horse. Picture 3 shows two distinct areas of rock with a hollow between them, so not a horse but just something which can be interpreted that way.

Pareidolia can be blamed for a lot of visual phenomena but maybe not all of it, and should be taken into account in all kinds of sightings from UFO’s to ghosts and of course shapes on other planets and moons.

The end is not near.At least that’s according to a German expert who says his decoding of a Mayan tablet with a reference to a 2012 date denotes a transition to a new era and not a possible end of the world as others have read it.The interpretation of the hieroglyphs by Sven Gronemeyer of La Trobe University in Australia was presented for the first time Wednesday at the archaeological site of Palenque in southern Mexico.His comments came less than a week after Mexico’s archaeology institute acknowledged there was a second reference to the 2012 date in Mayan inscriptions, touching of another round of talk about whether it predicts the end of the world. Gronemeyer has been studying the stone tablet found years ago at the archeological site of Tortuguero in Mexico’s Gulf coast state of Tabasco.

The above story is pretty new and is just another interpretation of the cryptic message from the Mayans regarding 2012. I was inspired to look for this information after hearing a brief news item on National radio in the UK. Having read the text linked above it’s clear that nobody has the definitive interpretation as most of it is just guesswork from what little is known about the Mayans today.

When you look into it that bit further there is also a piece of the puzzle missing as part of the stone tablet on which the decoding was done is cracked and “almost illegible”. It’s like reading a newspaper with the last part of the article ripped off, you only have the first part of the story and not the bit which states it came from an unidentified source which could make the whole thing meaningless.

From my point of view though there is a lot of dis-information out there regarding 2012 and a lot of people who are enjoying the fame of being harbingers of doom. At the moment there are much more pressing issues in the world to worry about than whether some ancient peoples could predict the future accurately (they probably couldn’t judging from how poor so many are at predicting the end of the world today). For really scary stuff in the near future just watch the global economy teetering on the verge of collapse and consider what that will mean for Western civilisation, then worry about the doom mongers of old another day.

The above is a snippet from a Before It’s News post which refers to the finding of some unexplained pipes in the mountains and pyramid in China. It’s these kind of stories which may lend credence to the Ancient Aliens theories which can be found in books and online. Obviously one of the best known of the Ancient Alien theorists is Erik Von Daniken who Wrote Chariots Of The Gods.

It would be naive to believe that the only way these things can be explained is by visitors from other planets doing them. The possibility is always there that our ancestors were more advanced than we give them credit for and made the Pyramids and the artifacts discovered in them. It may well be the case that we have lost the knowledge over the years which we are now rediscovering. It’s not impossible to see how that could have happened with the suppression of information by religions and powerful world conquerors like the Romans, and lots of information could have been lost as they forced people to change their ways and beliefs.

A third possibility is that we are in a second or third iteration of intelligence forming on the planet Earth. Evidence suggests nuclear wars fought long ago in India (glass globules from superheated sand found in excavations). What if a previous civilization had advanced to the point where they had weapons of mass destruction and blew each other to bits, then the survivors had to retreat to caves for a few generations and when they came out when the outside was safe the “cavemen” ancestors of ourselves started again on the road to where we are now?

These anomalous and anachronistic findings happen regularly around the world and just provide us with mysteries which we can’t explain within the reference of what we “know” of the past.  Will we ever know the truth of how Pyramids were made by people without machinery to lift the heavy stones, or why certain artifacts are found in ancient sites as they are uncovered which have no right to be there alongside the ancient pieces of a forgotten civilisation?

I just watched a couple of videos about the current debt situation worldwide (money as debt and Richard D Hall on The Economic Crisis) , and they were very scary when you see how bad things are and how what is being done can not help. The fist worrying thing is that no matter how much we all pay back and no matter how much the government saves there is not enough money out there to repay the debts. You might think that’s a stupid thing to say, but there is a reason why there is more owed than can be paid back. Interest.

Each pound / dollar / euro out there is created as debt from the outset. When it is created our governments start paying interest on it. Then the money is handed out to the private banks who lend it out, but due to something called the “fractional reserve system”  they can lend out nearly 10 times the initial value. The way it works is that someone borrows say $1000 to give to someone else who puts it into another bank. They can lend most of that $1000 again and the next bank can loan a percentage of that again and so on until from the original loan of $1000 the banks have created loans of over $10,000. The thing is they don’t have to have the money as they just type in an amount to loan so it’s possible to loan the money that doesn’t exist. So now we have a situation where there is more debt than actual money out there, and the interest is making the debt grow. The governments all talk about measures to fix the debt but they can’t fix it without changing the banking systems they have allowed to grow around the world. There are alternatives such as government issued money instead of the current system of borrowing from the private banks which control the current systems.  The quantitive easing our governments used back in 2008 and have done since won’t help either as the amount borrowed to throw at the economies devalues currencies and puts up inflation and is debt anyway and will be used again by private banks to up the debt once more. If governments issued notes, and put it out through the people they employ and the banks couldn’t loan it it would last a little longer. The problem is that the bankers who run the show wouldn’t let that happen easily.

There is a way to do something about it as individuals without getting into protests, such as the Occupy Wall Street and associated ones going on as I type this. Not that I am against or for the OWS and similar protests, they are letting someone know that people are upset about something but I don’t see it achieving too much. What I can see working is to slowly educate people that there is an alternative to the big banks which have got us into the mess and who took all the money when they needed bailing out but spent it again on bonuses.

We could go back to barter, and in local communities there is evidence of the beginnings of that as social network sites like Facebook have little groups starting up for people to trade goods and services without cash needing to change hands. Freecycle is another good way of stopping money flowing as you can pick up good used equipment and stop it going to landfill and no money is used, good for the environment and your cashflow.

But to really hit the banks harder we’d need an alternative to their strangleholds on finances. There is one too. Credit Unions which use money paid in as deposits to make loans, without putting out more than they have in reserves unlike the banks. Additionally these usually support the local communities as they don’t have shareholders to account to and pay the profits to any profits don’t have to be as large (lower interest maybe?) and they can be used to assist local groups as they are usually small and cater only to one small area.

If we all started switching to Credit Unions and away from big banks then things may improve. But it would need a major change from most of us to do it. That is why I have mentioned them here to start a ball rolling hopefully because maybe one person will find out more and tell someone else and start a move away from greedy banks making money from non existent funds and into the credit unions which don’t need to make a profit and can’t loan more than they have.
